At The Sterling Hall School, our mission to inspire and empower boys through their formative years is strengthened by our identity as an independent school.
SHS belongs to the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS), a national network of over 90 member schools that support collaborative initiatives in leadership, education, management and governance. Together, independent schools collaborate, establish National Standards, and participate in research and professional development.
SHS is also part of the International Boys School Coalition (IBSC) and the Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario (CIS Ontario) a network of 48 member schools.
At SHS, we embrace the best of the independent school mandate. We operate as a not-for-profit organization guided by a dedicated and enthusiastic Board of Governors. We pride ourselves on the close community we’ve developed, both within SHS and in our network of independent schools.
Just as we focus on creating a place where boys belong, we enjoy the inclusivity, accountability and inspiration that comes from being part of this independent school community.
