Our Advancement Office leads fundraising, community relations, communications and marketing for The Sterling Hall School. Our team members work closely with parents, Alumni, alumni families, faculty, staff and other stakeholders to help build community for current families and to keep Alumni and their families connected to SHS.

Meet the team:

Robin Kester, Executive Director of Advancement

Robin Kester
Executive Director of Advancement

Robin Kester oversees the SHS Advancement Team and has dedicated her career to working in the charitable sector, primarily in education. Prior to her arrival at SHS, Robin was the Director of Development for the Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto, where she held many positions between 2011-2019. Robin has also served as Associate Director of Advancement at The Bishop Strachan School as well as Director of Advancement at The York School. Be sure to ask her about her special relationship to SHS!

Stephanie Findlay, Associate Director of Advancement

Stephanie manages Sterling Hall's Annual Giving Program and supports fundraising and stewardship at SHS. With a background in education, she taught abroad and in Toronto for three years before shifting her focus to fundraising. After six years in the healthcare sector, Stephanie returned to education, at The Bishop Strachan School before she found a home at SHS.

Jane Sharma, Advancement Services Manager

Jane plays an integral role in collecting, stewarding and conscientiously leveraging the data that supports communications and fundraising at Sterling Hall. She has a background in accounting, database management, reporting for strategic insights, and marketing in the non-profit space. Lori Pacan, Communications Manager

Lori Pacan’s role at Sterling Hall is to manage internal and external communications, including all marketing and advertising. After working with many influential clients at marketing agencies across Toronto, completing her BEd and working in the educational publishing industry, Lori is excited to bring her passion for building brands and showcasing what makes them unique, to Sterling Hall.

Becca Clark, Advancement Officer

Advancement Officer

Becca’s role has a focus on the continued development of Sterling Hall’s Alumni Relations program and community engagement, as well as support for SHS communications. Becca is familiar with the independent school system, being an Alumna of two Toronto independent schools. After graduating from Queen’s University, she helped manage the buying & social media for a retail business, before finding her way back to the independent school system.
