Planned Giving
A legacy gift, or planned gift, is a promise of future support. Created during your lifetime, these meaningful donations provide The Sterling Hall School with support to continue offering educational excellence for generations to come.
Establishing a legacy gift can be done through a bequest in your will, gifts of stocks and securities and several more options. Legacy gifts are flexible. You can choose to direct your gift to a specific area of the School, such as capital improvements, financial assistance, or it can be left open for SHS to determine where it will have the greatest long-term impact. Just as today's boys benefit from the philanthropy of past generations, future students will have access to inspiring new spaces and programs to grow through your support. Thank you!
When you inform The Sterling Hall School of your charitable plans, you will be invited to join The Sterling Heritage Society, a special group of SHS Alumni, current and Alumni Families, Board Members, Faculty & Staff and friends of SHS who have chosen to expand their legacy by giving back to SHS and our boys.
This Society recognizes those who have the foresight to provide for future generations of SHS boys. It also provides SHS with the opportunity to extend its gratitude to those who notify us of their thoughtful gift intentions, while they are living.
