The Sterling Hall School (SHS), founded in 1987, is a leading independent school that specializes in educating boys during their formative years of Kindergarten to Grade 8.

Summary of Position

Position: Associate Teacher

Type: Full-time, fixed term contract (October 2019 to June 2020)

Start date: October 2019

The ideal candidate is a passionate educator with a sound understanding of best educational practices for the teaching of boys, and has the following qualifications and experience:

• Ontario College of Teachers certification

• Background in special education an asset

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with little direct supervision • Willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
