Summer Intern News: Welcome to the team, Evan Wechsler 2015
Posted 07/11/2019 11:23AM

I started my work as the new Alumni Intern on June 24, 2019. So far my experience has been nothing but positive. I would be lying if I said that being an employee instead of a student at Sterling isn't a little strange at first, but being invited into the Shark Lounge for my daily (or hourly) coffees and lunch breaks is something I got used to quickly.
The SHS faculty have been overwhelmingly welcoming, easing me into my new position. I have already been involved in a variety of projects that have pushed me to learn and develop new skills. From graphic design, to event planning, to learning how to utilize large databases and perform data analysis. I would recommend this position to any Old Boy who is committed to improving the Sterling Community and wants to have a productive and profitable summer job. It is a worthwhile experience and will make for a summer well spent.
