What a week we had! From September 20-24, our boys enjoyed their first installment of Anchor Days, a modified version of Experiential Learning right here at Sterling Hall!
Each grade was able to experience their own Anchor Day Program, where our boys engaged in outdoor activities that helped to build community and trust in their classroom and our school as a whole. This Experiential Learning Program enabled all those participating to “anchoring” themselves to SHS while building Character, Community, and a sense of Belonging.
Our boys, within their cohorts, enjoyed 1.5 hours of outdoor educational activities facilitated by our Outdoor Education Teachers here on campus. Each grade spent 30 minutes debriefing and connecting with their homeroom. It is these connections and memories that will anchor the grade as they ready themselves for a new year. As always, proper safety protocols will be adhered to at all times.
