Earth Day at SHS

This year, Sterling Hall celebrated Earth Day by having open and thoughtful conversations about the importance of our one and only Earth and how, as a community, we need to look for ways to protect and care for it. Our classrooms enjoyed Earth Day activities and Mr. Hay and his team joyfully lead the Earth Day Celebrations during our Friday Assembly followed by his much-loved rendition of the Green Grass Song!

We know Earth Week shouldn’t just be recognized only 7 days a year, instead, we should be looking out for our Earth every day, but it is important that we take the time to appreciate what we have. We encourage all of our community to do their part for the environment and to reflect on how fortunate we are to live in such a beautiful country as Canada.
