Mindfulness PA Session

On the evening of April 21, the SHS PA presented to our community, "Mind(set) & Mindfulness with Carla Weinstein, an SHS parent and Founder of the Drop In Project.

In this brief “Mindfulness Basics” offering, we learned what it means to be “fully aware in the present moment”, how to train ourselves to be more mindful and how to use this as a day-to-day tool to combat stress, lack of focus, and mood changes.

Mindfulness is the ability to be fully aware in the present moment. It’s a skill that we all possess and can be strengthened with greater understanding and practice.

Thank you to Carla and the PA for providing our SHS Community with yet another health and wellness learning opportunity to make our days a little brighter!
